Water cycle In this activity, you will be learning about the water cycle, there is a youtube video that you can watch to learn about the different steps in the water cycle.
Once you have watched video, there is also a link to a Learning Federation activity, which you can play. Once you have an understanding on the water cycle you will be required to create a short power point on one of the water cycle stages, this will be assigned by your teacher. Enjoy!!!
WATER POLLUTION In this activity, you will be learning about different ways water is being polluted, you will be required to complete a power point or movie on a particular type of water pollution.
Once you have watched the video you are now required to work in groups of four, to complete a power point or movie in movie maker. The power point or movie is required to be three minutes in length. Each group of students will be given a topic by your teacher to complete, topics include:
-Industrial waste -Oil spills -Sewage -Pesticides and fertilizers -Oxygen depletion
Each group is required to place the following into their power point or movie:
-Definition or explanation of their water pollution -Facts on water pollution -How is their water pollution caused -How can it be fixed, both at home and the world -Pictures -Audio, either the group speaking or a song
